Niksha Federico is this week's PacWest Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Federico, a 6-7 senior transfer from San Diego, Calif./Cathedral Catholic via San Diego State, led the Sharks to a win over Biola and a narrow loss to PacWest leader Dixie State last week. He averaged 22.5 points and 9.5 rebounds with 1.5 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals for the week. 
 
In the victory over Dominican, Federico scored 29 points with nine rebounds. He posted his PacWest leading 12th double-double against Dixie State with 16 points and 10 rebounds with two blocks and a steal.
 
Federico leads the PacWest Conference in scoring and rebounding with 21.9 points and 10.4 rebounds, ranking 23rd in NCAA Division II in scoring and 17th in rebounding. He’s 10th nationally in double-doubles.
 
It’s the first time this season Federico has been named the PacWest Player of the Week. He’s been honored as the Defender of the Week three times this season.
