Honolulu, HI (12/21/10) - HPU's Mana Hopkins-Vandenakker and Paris Gravely were selected to the 2010 Hoop 'N Surf Classic Women's Basketball All-Tournament Team, as announced by tournament organizers.

Hopkins was also named PacWest Player of the Week.

During HPU's two-game sweep, Hopkins averaged 21 points and 6.5 rebounds, while Gravely averaged 19 points and 4.5 rebounds. Hopkins and Gravely are tied for the team lead in scoring at 12.3 points per game, good for ninth in the PacWest.

HPU pulled out a late win against the University of Charleston, as Courtney Buster's late foul shot lifted the Sea Warriors. Coupled with a win over Fayetteville State, HPU heads into the holiday dead period with four consecutive victories.

HPU retakes the floor on New Year's Day for its final non-conference game against Westminster College (MO) at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center. Tipoff time is set for 4:00 p.m.
