Las Vegas, NV (March 12, 2012) – In the first match of the talent rich Las Vegas road trip the Hawai'i Pacific men's tennis team fell to fourth ranked Armstrong Atlantic State 8-1. The doubles team of
Petr Michnev and
Patric Guenther was victorious at first doubles.
HPU started off the match well in doubles play with a 9-8 win at first doubles. The pair of
Adriano Locorotondo and
Georgi Yordanov suffered a narrow 8-6 defeat at second doubles.
Armstrong entered singles play with a 2-1 advantage and then swept singles play for the 8-1 win.
HPU will play Grand Canyon tomorrow in Las Vegas at 12:30 PM
