In the seventh inning, Art U scored a pair of runs, but the issue was long decided by then. HPU ended the game's scoring with a run in the bottom of the seventh.
Although HPU certainly hit the ball well, collecting 19 hits, but Academy of Art was its own worst enemy. AAU pitching walked 16 batters, 10 of which would come around to score. Further helping the SeaWarriors was six wild pitches by Art U pitchers.
Several HPU batters had big days.
Kale Sumner tied a single game record with four walks; he also collected a hit and a RBI.
Blake Amaral collected three hits and three RBI as
Keanu Kapana went 3-3 with four runs scored.
Michael Murray was on the mound in game one and pitched seven innings, allowing four runs (two earned).

Game two starter
John Albert was dominant until the final inning. Albert faced the minimum through six innings, giving up one hit. Art U scored two runs in the seventh inning but Albert hung on for the complete game win.
Up until the seventh, it was all Sea Warriors. HPU took the lead in the first on a Kapana RBI single. HPU would add another run in the fourth when
Jace Poole doubled home Sumner. HPU collected three runs in the fifth without the benefit of a base hit. HPU was walked four times and was helped with an error and a wild pitch in the frame.
Sumner was 2-2 with a run scored in game two.
HPU will close the season tomorrow with a doubleheader against Academy of Art starting at 2 PM at Hans L'Orange Park. Former HPU baseball player Zach Manago will be remembered before the game and this year's seniors will be honored after.
