AUSTIN, TX (April 5, 2013)- The fifth ranked Hawai'i Pacific Men's Tennis Team (14-3) dropped the second match of its Austin road trip to second ranked Barry (18-0) 9-0.

The Sea Warriors fell behind early in doubles as the tenth ranked duo of Petr Michnev and Gerald Moretti fell to the second ranked doubles pair, 8-4. Barry also took second and third doubles by 8-5 and 8-3 scores.

Although HPU was not able to come up with a win in singles play, although some of the matches were close. Michnev, the second ranked player in the country, won the first set of his match against Marco Mokrzycki (No. 4) before falling 6-3, 6-3.  In fourth singles, Max Hertl split the first two sets in his match before falling in the third, 6-3.

HPU remains in Austin and will play St. Edward's University tomorrow at 1:00 PM CST.
