SAN DIEGO, CA (March 14, 2014)—The fifth-ranked Hawai`i Pacific Men's Tennis Team (10-0) picked up a 7-2 neutral site victory over #11 Azusa Pacific in San Diego on Friday.
The Sea Warriors got off to a good start in doubles action taking all three matches by the score of 8-4.
Despite a commanding 3-0 lead, singles action would be a tight contest.

Petr Michnev defeated seventh-ranked Jan Meyer 6-3, 3-6, 6-2. The Cougars took the point at second and fourth singles, but
Jaume Martinez-Vich took a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 victory at third singles as
Yann Renault and
Adriano Locorotondo won their matches in straight sets at fifth and sixth singles respectively.
The Sea Warriors will return to action tomorrow to face UC San Diego its home court. First serve is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. PST.
