Men’s Tennis Handles Hawks

HONOLULU, HI (March 9, 2013) – The fifth ranked Hawai`i Pacific Men's Tennis Team picked up its second 9-0 victory in as many days, this time sweeping Holy Names (1-5) at the Hale Koa Tennis Courts. The Sea Warriors remain a perfect 7-0 on the season.

HPU made quick work of the Red Hawks in doubles action by taking all three points for the early lead.
The Sea Warriors remained strong in singles action with five of the six matches ending in straight sets without dropping more than one game. Jaume Martinez-Vich and Thibaud Berland took their singles matches 6-1, 6-1 as Mattis Wetzel and Adriano Locorotondo won their matchups 6-1, 6-0.

The Sea Warriors now hit the road for 10 games against the top teams in the nation spanning from San Diego to Florida with a stop in Las Vegas. The trip begins with a matchup against Azusa Pacific on March 14th in San Diego.
