SURPRISE, AZ (April 17, 2014)—The Hawai`i Pacific Women's Tennis Team (16-5) defeated Fresno Pacific (10-14) in the first round of the PacWest Tennis Championships on Thursday.
 
The Sea Warriors made quick work of the Sunbirds, sweeping all three doubles matches.
 
In singles play, Lorena Gheorghe and Vivian Hansen earned straight sets victories for the 5-0 team win.
 
The Sea Warriors will face Azusa Pacific tomorrow in the semifinals.
