Box Score HONOLULU (October 17, 2015)—The Hawaii Pacific women's soccer team snapped its three-match losing streak with a rousing 3-0 victory over Chaminade in a PacWest Conference contest at Saint Louis Field.

The Sharks (5-7, 2-5 PacWest) went on the offensive from the get-go as Meghan Cooley scored in the third minute from 15 yards out after being assisted by Sara Romo. In the 69th minute, Romo notched a goal of her own from 25 yards out to put the visitors ahead 2-0. HPU sealed the deal in the 75th minute on Larkyn Nelson's first goal of the season.

The Silverswords (1-10, 0-7) were out-shot 26-4 by HPU, and Chaminade could not muster a shot on goal. The loss marked the 10th straight defeat for Chaminade, which has not scored a goal since its season-opening victory over Wheeling Jesuit.

HPU returns to action with a home contest at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Park Field 5 as the Sharks face Dominican University of California on Monday, Oct. 19 at 12:30 p.m.
