Box Score IRVINE, CALIF. (October 8, 2015)—Offense was scarce as Concordia University Irvine blanked the Hawaii Pacific women's soccer team 1-0 in a PacWest Conference contest at Eagles Field.

The Sharks (4-6, 1-4 PacWest) out-shot the opposition 8-6 throughout the match, however, the Eagles (5-2-2, 4-1 PacWest) went ahead for good on a Katie Gast goal in the 72^nd minute. HPU's Sara Romo came off the bench to lead the visitors' offensive charge with four shots, including two on goal.
 
HPU goalkeeper Kelby Boswell notched four saves, while counterpart Darby Clements stopped all five shots on goal from the Sharks.
 
HPU continues its four-match road trip as the Sharks face Azusa Pacific University on Oct. 10 at noon and return to Oahu to take on Chaminade University on Oct. 17 at 1 p.m.
