Box Score KANEOHE, Hawaii (November 7, 2015)—The Hawaii Pacific women's soccer team ended its season with a rousing 3-0 victory over UH Hilo in a PacWest Conference contest on Senior Day at the Atherton Field.
The Sharks (9-9, 6-7 PacWest) started the scoring spree on sophomore
Sara Romo's seventh goal of the season, which came on a free kick in the 41
st minute.
Noelle Mercado then scored in the 66
th minute on an assist from senior
Meghan Cooley and senior
Breanna Gaddis also found the back of the net in the 90
th minute following a pass from Romo to complete the victory.
The Vulcans (5-9-3, 4-9) received a notable performance from goalkeeper Tiani Teanio, who made nine saves and kept the match close for most of the 90 minutes. Hilo was out-shot 21-10, and Sharks goalkeeper
Kelby Boswell made five saves to preserve the clean sheet.
