DENVER, Colo. (March 8, 2016) – The second-ranked Hawaii Pacific men's tennis team blanked Metropolitan State College of Denver, 9-0, to remain undefeated in 2016. 
The Sharks (9-0) were led by sixth-ranked 
Thibaud Berland, who defeated Brandon Nachbar 6-4, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles position. Eighth-ranked Jaume Martinez Vich was victorious in the No. 2 singles spot after dispatching Parker Jones 6-3, 6-2. HPU's 
Alexander Meyer notched a win over Martynas Lukosiunas in the No. 3 slot 6-3, 6-1. 
Torben Otto, 
Jakub Hadrava and 
Clemens Graute also claimed victories in the singles competition for the Sharks. 
In doubles action, HPU's tandem of Meyer and Berland teamed up to dominate the Roadrunners duo of Lukosiunas and Jones, 8-0. The Sharks also received doubles wins from 
Filip Dolezel and Martinez Vich (8-0) as well as Hadrava and Otto (8-1). 
HPU will remain in Denver to face Saint Leo (Fla.) University on March 19, Saint Mary's (Tex.) University on March 20, Midwestern State (Tex.) University on March 21 and Cameron (Okla.) University on March 22.
