INDIANAPOLIS – Hawai'i Pacific University men's and women's basketball teams will be on the national stage in February as the Sharks have been selected to be a part of the NCAA's Division II Showcase on ESPN3.
HPU's PacWest doubleheader at Azusa Pacific in the Felix Events Center on Saturday, Feb. 16, is part of the 24-game package announced by the NCAA on Thursday. The doubleheader starts with the women's game at 3:35 p.m. HST (5:35 p.m. PST) and follows with the men's contest at 5:35 p.m. HST (7:35 p.m. PST). Both will be streamed live by ESPN.
The Division II Showcase package currently features 14 of the 24 basketball-sponsoring conferences in Division II, including the PacWest. While the new Division II Showcase agreement features two distribution models, the Sharks at APU contests are two of the 18 games that will stream exclusively on ESPN3, available on the ESPN App.
