IRVINE, Calif. – The Pacific West Conference has canceled the remainder of conference competition and championships as well as all countable athletics related activities through the end of the spring national championships due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The twelve PacWest institutions including Hawai'i Pacific University, working with the conference office, made this decision unanimously on Monday. The PacWest is acting in accordance with the NCAA's mandates on competition and eligibility relief, in the best interests of the health and safety of its student-athletes, coaches, athletic staffs and fans.
This measure is in agreement with the NCAA's and National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association's decisions to cancel their national championships through the spring.
