HONOLULU – The Hawai'i Pacific University cross-country teams are hosting the HPU Sharks invitational this weekend at the Kahuku Golf Course on Saturday morning.

The Sharks are coming off first-place victories from both teams at the Hilo Invitational. Senior Troy Oshimo placed first in the 8k with a time of 27:31.3. Graduate Karen Corona-Perez grabbed her second first-place of the season, coming in at 20:03.1 in the 5k.
 
The men's 8k starts at 7:05 a.m., followed by the women's and open runners 5k at 7:45 a.m., with awards ceremonies around 9 a.m.
