Abby Spurgin claimed her second PacWest Player of the Week award in back-to-back weeks for her record-breaking performance against UH Hilo.
The Sharks met their conference rival Vulcans for their second matchup in as many weeks, where Spurgin posted an incredible 38 points to break the previous school record of 37 set in 2008 by Ashley Jenkins.
The Texas native, came one bucket shy of the record in the previous matchup and did not waste the second opportunity. This is her third double-double of the year and a consecutive 30-10 game. Spurgin also leads the country in Division II with 27.2 points per game.
