AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communications released their 2022 Academic All-America Men's Soccer team this morning, with Hawaii Pacific University graduate forward
Gerrit Arzberger garnering second-team honors.
Arzberger, the German native, had an outstanding career with the Sharks in and out of the classroom. He was selected to the All-District team for the second time this season, last in 2019, but earned his first appearance on the All-American Teams.
He earned a 3.86 in his undergrad and a 3.94 in his graduate Business Administration courses. He was the Sharks leading scorer with ten goals and one assist, capturing his third team scoring title.
Arzberger adds another accomplishment to his accolades: 2019, 2021 CoSIDA All-District Team, Five-Time PacWest All-Conference, Academic All-PacWest, PacWest Player of the Week, and the United Soccer Coaches Association Division II All-West Region Team.
