AZUSA, Calif. – The Hawai'i Pacific University Acrobatics & Tumbling team opened the 2025 season on the road against Azusa Pacific, finishing with a score of 229.735 against the Cougars' 248.690. The Sharks battled through early challenges and showcased strong execution in key events throughout the meet.

HPU earned its first heat win in the synchronized toss event, showing precision and teamwork. The Sharks continued to put together strong performances in the tumbling event, keeping pace with the Cougars in a tightly contested round.
