HONOLULU, Hawai'i — Hawai'i Pacific closed out its home slate on Thursday afternoon at Hunakai Park, falling 4-1 to Chaminade in a match that also served as Senior Day for Lindsey Tapp and Jordan McCutcheon.
The Sharks' lone point came at the No. 2 position, where Tapp and McCutcheon were awarded the win by forfeit, marking a fitting moment for the senior duo in their final home appearance.
Chaminade secured the overall victory with straight-set wins across the remaining courts, taking control early and clinching the dual with strong performances throughout the lineup.
Despite the final result, the Sharks continued to compete throughout the lineup, gaining valuable experience as the program continues to grow. The match also marked a meaningful moment for Hawai'i Pacific, celebrating two seniors who have helped lead the team through its inaugural year.
