Personal: Born in Honolulu, Hawai'i...daughter of Mark and Ann Yoshimura...nickname is Trish or Yoshi...hobbies are beach volleyball, and hanging out with family and friends...favorites are fried rice and movie The Notebook...majoring in Business...in 10 years time she hopes to have a good job and married with children...chose HPU because it was her opportunity play collegiate volleyball close to home.

Prior to HPU: A graduate of Hawai'i Baptist Academy...lettered in volleyball under Coach Glenn Oyer (2002-03) and Coach Keith Sugiura (2003-05)...earned ILH Honorable Mention honors in 2003, 2004, and 2005...attended Oregon State University in Corvalis, Oregon...lettered in volleyball under Coach Taras Liskevych.

HPU: Begins third season. 2009: Played in 25 matches, starting nine...registered 306 digs, good for second on the team in that category...posted a team-high 16 double-figure kill matches, and a season-high 26 digs versus Cal State East Bay (9/5). 2008: Played in 91 games and 24 matches...led the PacWest with 5.36 digs per game...broke HPU single season record with 551 digs...earned PacWest Libero of the Year honors.
