Prior to HPU: Graduated from Askanian High School in Berlin, playing shooting guard under Coach Henrik Rödl…Malte and his team were the U19 German Basketball Champions and took 5th place in the U20 European championships…Was the 5th best three-point shooter and earned 2nd League honors…Malte also attended Tulane University in New Orleans…there be played as a small forward under Coach Ed Conroy.
