Personal: Born in Mashhad, Knorasan Razavi, Iran…parents are Reza Farman and Homeira Forouzesh…has one brother, Aryan…Farbod’s hobbies includes watching movies and playing Xbox…favorite type of food is Mexican…favorite movie is the Matrix…favorite musical artist is Lil Wayne…favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant…chose HPU because “I heard a lot of good things about HPU for an education and also for basketball with a great coach and team”…in 10 years Farbod would like to be a great business man…he is currently majoring in International Business.

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Bagher al Oloum in Mashhad Khorasan Razavi, Iran…there he played basketball, as a center…in 2009, he participated in the U-19 World Cup in Auckland, New Zealand…in 2008 he helped Iran’s U-18 team win the title game at the FIBA Asia Championship in Tehran, and won titles in the West Junior Asian Championship…in 2007 he participated in Basketball Without Borders Asia, playing in Shanghai, China…in 2007 he also won titles at the Asia Championship 3 on 3 in Macau...he also attended Missouri State University in West Plains…there he played basketball, as a center under former Sea Warrior Assistant Coach Yancey Walker...ranked #1 as a team in the nation his freshman year...was personally ranked #20 in the nation for field goal percentage his sophomore year.

HPU: 2013-2014: Begins second season. 2012-2013: Farman played in 23 games (16.7 minutes per game), making three starts…he scored 194 points (8.4 average) and grabbed 95 rebounds (4.1 average)…added 14 blocks (team-high), 12 assists and seven steals…made 62% of his shots from the field to lead the team…ranked 4th in the PacWest in FG%…converted 71% from the foul line…had a season-high 23 points vs. Point Loma (2-9-13)…pulled down a season-high 10 rebounds vs. California Baptist (2-11-13)…had three blocks in two different games.
