Personal: Born in Louisville, Colorado…parents are Bryan and Jean Albert…has seven siblings, Lydia (23), Rachel (19), Jake (17), Laura (15), Kathleen (14) Jamey (12), Peter (8)…nickname is “Alby”…hobbies include disc golf, juggling and riding his bike…favorite foods are Chinese and banana bread…favorite movies are Moneyball and  Fever Pitch…favorite musical artists are Lil Wayne, The Green, and his little sister on the guitar…favorite athlete is Carlos Gonzalez…in 10 years he would like to be in his career…chose HPU for its location and its academics…major is Applied Math.

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Sehome High School in Bellingham, Washington…played baseball under Coach Gary Hatch as pitcher and centerfield…received Washington First Time All-State Pitcher in 2010 and 2011…also played basketball under Coach AJ LaBree as a guard and football under Darren Tinnerstet as a wide receiver.

HPU: 2015: Begins fourth season. 2014: Albert made nine appearances and started five games. He posted a 2-1 record with a 2.45 ERA and allowed only six walks in 29.1 innings pitched while striking out 12. 2013: Appeared in nine games, three of them starts…went 4-0 with a 4.88 ERA…logged 31.1 innings pitched…in a 13-7 victory against Augustana on February 4th, Albert got the win after a five inning relief appearance in which he struck out four and gave up only one run. 2012: Appeared and started in 14 games...pitched six complete games, with a record of 6-7 and an ERA of 4.72...he struck out 42 batters.
