Personal: Barraza was born in Fullerton, CA to Cesar and Julie Barraza…raised in San Marcos along with his three brothers; Adam, Bryan, and Nathan…hobbies are body surfing, playing with his dog, and supporting is younger brothers in sports…favorite movies are Quentin Tarintino movies, especially Pulp Fiction…favorite musical artists are Mike Love, Steel Pulse and Isaiah Rashad…favorite athletes are Derek Jeter and Adrian Beltre…majoring in Justice Administration…in 10 years he would like to be a lawyer or CHP Officer…chose HPU for the opportunity to play in Hawaii

Prior to HPU: He graduated from Mission Hills High School in San Diego, CA, there he played baseball for Ken Putnam…was the MVP in 2012, a Captain, and made All-San Diego second team…also attended Palomar Community College, there he played third base for Buck Taylor and was part of the conference championship team, two years in a row

HPU: 2016: Started in all 48 games played hitting at a .317 clip (58-183)...drove in 28 rbi and scored 25 runs...hit nine double, six triples, and one homerun...recorded 14 walks and led the team with a .992 fielding percentage 2015- Started 46 of 47 games played and hit for a .350 average (62-177)...scored 26 runs and drove in a team leading 42 rbi on nine doubles and one triple
