Prior to HPU: Collins was four sport athlete at Carlmont High School where he played basketball, football, track and field, and baseball…he won the Blanket Award for his baseball team in high school…he later attended Skyline Junior College where he continued his baseball career playing for head coach Dino Domicos

HPU: 2016: Appeared in three games...pitched four innings, allowed two earned runs, struck out three 2015- Made four appearances...pitched 4.1 innings, allowed seven earned runs,struck out five batters.
