Biography

Personal: Born in Honolulu, Hawaii…parents are Iris and Gary Nakasato…has one brother, Davin (30)…nickname is “Babytos”…hobbies include going to the beach, spending time with family and friends…favorite foods are spicy ahi and rice…favorite movies are Remember the Titans, The Hangover, and Law Abiding Citizen…favorite musical artists are The Green, SOJA, and Rebelution…favorite athletes are Adrian Peterson and Shane Victorino…in 10 years he wants to be “ballin”…chose HPU for the baseball scholarship and the chance to play in front of his family.

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Saint Louis School...was awarded First Team All-ILH and First Team All-State…also lettered in football as RB...was awarded First Team All-ILH and Honorable Mention All-State.

HPU: 2015: Begins fourth season 2014: Nakasato started in 44 games, appearing in 47. He led the team with a .356 batting average, while collecting a team high 64 hits and 84 total bases. Nakasato also led the team in triples (4) and RBI (41) and was second in doubles with 12. He would also set a school record with an unbelievable 34 game hitting streak. To go along with his dominance at the plate, Nakasato did not commit a single error in the outfield in 79 chances and had four assists. For his spectacular play Nakasato was selected to the First Team All – PacWest. 2013: Played in 47 games, starting 45…led team, and was 5th in the PacWest with 182 at bats…hit .286 with 36 runs,  nine doubles, two triples,  a home run, 22 RBI and 11 stolen bases…on April 26 at Fresno Pacific he compiled nine total bases and scored four times 2012: Played and started in 45 games...averaged .363 with 36 runs, nine doubles, one homerun, 19 RBI, 22 walks, and four stolen bases.
