Anthony Najafi is a striker from Simi Valley, California. He played at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth under coaches Gustavo and Chris, excelling in both soccer and lacrosse while earning three varsity letters. A decorated prep athlete, Anthony was twice selected to the Gold Coast Second Team and also named to the CIF First Team All-City. Born in Torrance, California, he chose HPU for the opportunity to join the men’s soccer program and enjoy the unique beauty and lifestyle of Hawai‘i. Off the field, he enjoys playing soccer, working out, video games, and spending time with friends. His favorite foods are Persian dishes, his favorite athletes include Messi, Suárez, and Neymar, and he hopes to one day play professionally while also pursuing a career in wealth management.
