Elvis Villalva is a midfielder from San Diego, California. He graduated from Otay Ranch High School, where he competed as an attacking midfielder under head coach Juan Ramirez. During his prep career, Villalva earned First Team All-League honors and was named Offensive Player of the Year.

Villalva enjoys fishing, exploring new places, and trying new restaurants. His favorite foods include pizza, tacos, pasta, pho, and açaí bowls. His favorite movie is Prisoners, and he enjoys listening to Drake. Lionel Messi is his favorite athlete. Villalva chose HPU because of its location and the opportunity to step outside his comfort zone while experiencing a new environment. In 10 years, he hopes to be playing professional soccer and be financially successful. He has eight siblings and credits his mom, stepdad, and dad as important influences in his life.
