Personal: Born in San Jose, California…parents are Dewayne and Marcie Ellenwood…has one younger sister, Quyntz (16), and two younger brothers, Korbyn (13) and Candyn (12)…enjoys fishing, snowboarding, hunting, and wakeboarding…favorite movies are The Hangover, Ted, Step Brothers, and  21 Jump Street…favorite musical artists are 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, and Driicky Graham…in ten years, he would like to be working as a game warden for Northern California…chose HPU for the location…majoring in Justice Administration.

Prior to HPU: A graduate of Foothill High School, where he played baseball under Coach Todd Buck and earned All-League and All-Star Selection…attended Shasta College in Redding, California, where he played baseball under Coach Ruppert and earned All-League, All-Conference, and All-NorCal.

HPU: 2015: Begins third season. 2014: Ellenwood was one of three players to start in all 48 games. He led the team in doubles with 14 and was second on the team in at bats (181) and hits (62). He was also third on the team in batting average (.343), slugging percentage (.448) and in RBI’s (36). He also led the team in sacrifice fly’s with five. He also managed to hit one triple. 2013: Played in 36 games, starting 31…hit.278 in 108 at bats with 18 runs, seven doubles, a triple, a home run, and 25 RBI …On April 22 at Azusa Pacific Ellenwood went on 4-5 with five RBI
