Damon Turcios is a center midfielder and outside back from Kaneohe, Hawai‘i. At Castle High School, he played for coach Michael Park while also competing in basketball. A four-time OIA and All-Hawai‘i honoree, Damon earned recognition as the 2023/2024 All OIA East Player of the Year. Born in Kailua, Hawai‘i, he enjoys drawing, playing basketball, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends. His favorite foods include pepperoni pizza, beef tomato, and kalua pig with rice, while his favorite movies are Ready Player One, Spirited Away, and Avengers: Infinity War. Damon’s musical tastes range from Daniel Caesar and Steve Lacy to A$AP Rocky and Frank Ocean. Inspired by athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric, LeBron James, Kylian Mbappé, and Lamine Yamal, Damon hopes to build a comfortable life with his family while working in his father’s pool business. He chose HPU because of his long-standing relationship with Coach Fisher and the opportunity to represent his home state at the collegiate level.
