Maxemilian Törnkvist Angestav joins the Sharks from REFIS in Stockholm, Sweden. The 5-foot-11 center back is originally from Trosa, Sweden, and plans to major in Business Administration at Hawai?i Pacific.

Angestav chose HPU for the opportunity to compete at a high level in soccer while earning a college degree, all while experiencing life in Hawai?i. He looks forward to developing both academically and athletically as a member of the Sharks.

Off the field, Angestav enjoys golfing and traveling with friends and family. His favorite athletes are Fredrik Hammar and Harry Maguire, and he enjoys listening to Pearl Jam and Lars Winnerbäck. In 10 years, he hopes to be playing professionally for Hammarby IF.
