Philip Berberg Stavnem is a defender from Norway. A graduate of Telemark Toppidrett Gymnas, he played under coach Simon Disch while developing his game as a right back. Before arriving at HPU, Philip also attended Handelshøyskolen BI in Norway. He chose HPU for its international environment, strong coaching staff, and unique location in Hawai‘i. Off the pitch, Philip enjoys the stock market, health, and spending time at the beach. His favorite food is pizza, his favorite film is The Wolf of Wall Street, and he looks up to Mohamed Salah as his role model athlete. Nicknamed “Stavi,” Philip hopes to be a father in 10 years while continuing to balance success in life both on and off the field.
