Kane‘ohe native Mia Carbonell joins Hawai‘i Pacific University softball following a standout career at both the prep and collegiate levels. A former four-year letterwinner at ‘Iolani School, she played under coaches Benny Agbayani and Chad Cordero, earning multiple honors including First Team ILH, All-Tournament First Team, and recognition as a 4-time OC16 Impact Player. At Eastern Arizona College, Carbonell continued her success, earning Second-Team All-Region honors while serving as a key contributor at catcher and first base. Known for her leadership and versatility on the field, Carbonell returns home to Hawai‘i to represent the Sharks and continue her academic journey.
