HONOLULU, HI (November 19, 2013)- Hawai`i Pacific Middle Blocker Haley Doerfler has been named Pepsi Player of the Week after a monster mainland road trip. The junior racked up 27 kills and hit over .500 in all three matches of the road swing.

On November 9^th Doerfler hit .526 and registered 11 kills on 19 swings while adding eight block assists on defense against Dixie State.

Two nights later, the Sea Warriors traveled to Riverside where Doerfler tallied eight kills to go along with three digs and seven block assists defensively in a 3-1 victory over California Baptist.

Capping off the three-match swing, the junior hit .615 while putting away eight kills on 13 swings against Point Loma.

For the week Doerfler made just two hitting errors in three matches.
The HPU concludes its regular season with a big rematch against #4 BYU-Hawaii on the North Shore on November 21^st. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
