Phoenix, AZ (2/17/11) - The Hawai'i Pacific men's basketball team got a double-double from Jason Jackson, but it was not enough as Grand Canyon won 74-57. HPU now drops to 10-14 overall and 5-7 in conference. Grand Canyon improves to 13-7, 8-2.
Grand Caynon led 15-4 early and was not threatened, HPU trailed by double-digets the entire second half.
Jackson had 13 points to go with 13 rebounds to lead the game in both categories. Kyle Allen had 9 points, including 7-8 from the line. Royal Edwards had 8 points and six rebounds.
Brad Carroll led GCU with 12 points.
HPU now travels to Dixie St. on Saturday for another conference match-up; start time is 7:30 P.M. MST.
