EWA BEACH, HI (February 18, 2014) – The Hawai'i Pacific Men's Golf Team came in third with a 308 in an Oahu Tri-Match at Hawai'i Prince Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Englishman
James Fawssett had a bounce-back round of 76 to tie for the team-low score. Freshman
Kevin Goldstein was impressive, tying his senior teammate with a 76. The pair tied for sixth place overall in the match. The Sea Warriors showed off their youth as fellow freshman
Alec Fourie was just one stroke off his teammates with a 77. Seniors
Ian Boat and
Andy Rodby carded a 79 and an 80 on the par 72 layout.
Chaminade led the field with a 296 followed by a 301 from BYU-Hawaii. CUH's David Kirk and Jarin Harada both shot 72s for medalist honors.
The Sea Warriors return to the links for the Aloha at Oahu Tournament at Turtle Bay on March 27th and 28th.
