ʻAIEA, Hawaiʻi — The Hawai'i Pacific University men's golf team delivered a solid showing at its home event, finishing fourth overall at the 2025 Southwest Airlines HPU Sharks Shootout held at Pearl at Kalauao.
The Sharks carded a 916 team total (+52) across three rounds, placing behind Hawai'i Hilo (892), CSU San Bernardino (907), and Missouri–St. Louis (912).
Junior
Kyle Krupp led the way for HPU, tying for sixth individually at 226 (+10) after posting consistent rounds of 73-76-77. Teammates
Shion Suzuki and
Rico See followed closely, tying for 14th at 230 (+14).
Santino Diokno (+16, 232) and
Tensuke Sakurai (+17, 233) rounded out the scoring lineup, while
Braydn Sato (+19, 235) and
Miles Atkinson (+29, 242) provided depth to the Sharks' rotation.
The Sharks will return to action Wednesday, Nov. 5, for the Pearl at Kalauao Invitational hosted by the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
