HONOLULU – Hawai'i Pacific University guard Emil Isovic, a 21-year-old sophomore from Kristianstad, Sweden/Malmo Idrottsgymasium, collapsed on the team bench after exiting the game against Southern Nazarene on Tuesday.
 
He was treated on the scene by athletic trainers from teams in attendance, nurses at the Hawai'i Convention Center and aided by an off-duty doctor who was a parent from a visiting team before paramedics and EMS personnel arrived to transport him to a local hospital.
 
Isovic is stable and the HPU Ohana would like to thank everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers for all involved with the situation.
 
The contest with Southern Nazarene was cancelled.
