SAN FRANCISCO – The DII Conference Commissioners Association released their All-West Region Women's Basketball list with Abby Spurgin being named to the first team.
 
The awards continue to pour in for Spurgin who was consistently one of the best players in the country this season. The graduate student from Fredericksburg, Tex. averaged 22.0 pts/gm, 9.3 rebounds/gm and 2.44 blocks/gm. She was named PacWest Player and Newcomer of the year and made it on the All-PacWest First team.
 
She will now be added to the ballot for a chance to be named a D2CCA All-American. Voting will be revealed March 19th.
