WAIKOLOA, Hawai'i – The Hawai'i Pacific University women's golf team closed out the 2025 Dennis Rose Intercollegiate with an impressive runner-up finish, tying Hawai'i Hilo for second place with a team score of 617 (+57) at Waikoloa Beach Resort's Beach and Lakes Courses.
Led by standout performances across the lineup, the Sharks posted a first-round 297—the lowest team score of the tournament—before finishing strong in round two. Isabella Iorio paced HPU with a two-day total of 151 (+11), securing fourth place individually. Close behind was Giuliana Rovetti, who finished sixth at 153 (+13), while Kameron "Kami" Kwong tied for eighth at 155 (+15).
Rounding out the team effort, Shuiyun He tied for 16th with a 159 (+19) and Paige Sur tied for 25th at 163 (+23). The Sharks displayed depth and consistency throughout the event, finishing just three strokes shy of champion CSU Pueblo.
HPU's performance marks another strong showing in the fall season as the Sharks continue to build momentum heading into the spring campaign.
