Game 1
Grace Osborne started in the circle for the Sharks, retiring just two batters before yielding six hits and five runs. Trinity Williams came on in relief and was excellent the rest of the way, tossing 5â…“ shutout innings and holding Biola to just one hit. Despite Williams' strong effort, the Sharks could not generate enough offense to make it a game.
HPU's only run came in the fourth inning. Miquela Leopoldo and Danielle Cote singled, and Jade Retuta walked to load the bases. Saunette Oshiro then lifted a sacrifice fly to center to score Leopoldo, but Cayleigh Naito grounded into a double play to end the threat.
Leopoldo led the Sharks offensively, going 2-for-4. Biola's Kayla Bousquette earned the win, improving to 10–3 on the season, scattering three hits over 4⅔ innings with six strikeouts.
Game 2
The Sharks put together a more competitive effort in the nightcap but again fell into an early hole. Biola scored an unearned run in the bottom of the first when Alexa Sheard reached on a bunt single and advanced to second on a throwing error by Brianna Rodela. Kendall Nakano's sacrifice fly plated Sheard to give the Eagles a 1–0 lead.
HPU mounted a two-run rally in the sixth. Taryn Hirano singled and advanced to second on a wild pitch. After a fielder's choice set up the next at-bat, Leopoldo singled through the left side to score Hirano. Olympia Jara then added a sacrifice fly to score Felicia Tanno, cutting the deficit to 4–2.
Biola called on Bousquette to close out the game, and she retired all four batters she faced, including striking out the side in the seventh to end the game.
Lily Pardini pitched the full six innings for HPU, allowing four runs — three earned — on seven hits. Leopoldo and Jara each drove in a run in the loss.
