ODESSA, Texas – Hawai'i Pacific men's tennis earned a 4-0 victory over Texas Permian Basin on Monday morning.

The Sharks secured the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. On court two, Ethan Terry and Mile Matic defeated Nakasato and Garcia 6-4. The point was clinched on court one where Yannick Heitzeberg and Seth Newman edged Chothani and Naidoo 7-5.

Hawai'i Pacific carried that momentum into singles play, winning the first three completed matches to secure the team victory.

Arthur Pery delivered a dominant performance at No. 5 singles, defeating Gaurieder 6-0, 6-1 to give the Sharks their second point. Newman followed with a straight-set win at No. 4 singles, defeating Chothani 6-4, 6-3.

The match was clinched on court three as Terry defeated Naidoo 6-4, 7-5 to seal the 4-0 victory for Hawai'i Pacific.
