LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Hawai'i Pacific closed out competition at the Pacific West Conference Men's Golf Championships with a seventh-place finish after three rounds at Aliante Golf Club.
The Sharks posted a team score of 898 (298–312–288), showing resilience with their strongest round coming on the final day.
HPU was led by Rico See, who finished tied for 20th overall with a three-round total of 224 (+8). See rebounded from an opening-round 82 to post back-to-back rounds of 71, leading the Sharks' push in the final two rounds.
Miles Atkinson and Kyle Krupp each finished tied for 26th at 228 (+12). Both players showed improvement late, with Atkinson closing with a 72 and Krupp finishing with a 71 in the final round.
Shion Suzuki added a 230 (+14), highlighted by a 71 in the opening round, while Dylan Sakasegawa rounded out the lineup at 231 (+15).
As a team, the Sharks bounced back from a challenging second round to post a 288 in round three, matching their best team score of the tournament and closing the event on a strong note.
Hawai'i Hilo captured the team title with an 857, while Menlo and Westmont rounded out the top three.
