Hawai'i Pacific Women's Basketball is excited to welcome the newest members of the Sharks family as Keira Heinricy (San Diego, California/El Capitan High School), Jocelyn Tani (Cerritos, California/Cypress High School), and Ali'ilani "Ali'i" Halaufia-Tuygun (Flower Mound, Texas/Marcus High School) join the program as the Class of 2030.

The talented freshman trio brings a combination of skill, determination, and enthusiasm to HPU as they prepare to begin their collegiate careers this fall. Each student athlete has demonstrated a passion for the game and a commitment to excellence, making them outstanding additions to the Sharks program.

Heinricy comes to HPU from El Capitan High School in San Diego, California, where she built a reputation as a hardworking competitor and dependable teammate. Her commitment to growth and team-first mentality make her a natural fit for the Sharks' culture.

Tani joins the program from Cypress High School in Cerritos, California. A versatile player with a strong competitive drive, she is eager to take the next step in her basketball career and contribute to the success of the program.

Halaufia-Tuygun, who goes by "Ali'i," arrives from Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas. She brings an energetic presence, relentless work ethic, and excitement for the opportunity to develop her game at the collegiate level.

As they prepare for their first season, all three freshmen are excited to get to Hawai'i, get to work, and become part of something special at HPU. They are eager to embrace the challenges of college basketball while contributing to the culture and success of the Sharks.

The Sharks are excited to see what this group can accomplish. They have tremendous potential, and coaches are looking forward to helping each of them grow as student-athletes and as people during their time at HPU.

With the addition of the Class of 2030, HPU Women's Basketball continues to build for the future. The Sharks are excited to welcome Heinricy, Tani, and Halaufia-Tuygun to campus and look forward to seeing the impact they will make both on the court and in the HPU community.
