Shawn Villanea is a versatile forward who brings size, skill, and leadership to the Sharks’ lineup. A graduate of West Creek High School in Clarksville, Tennessee, he played under coaches Russell Malone and Chris Pilz, earning All-Tournament Team honors. Shawn continued his career at Jefferson College in Missouri before transferring to HPU. He chose Hawai‘i Pacific for the bonds built within the program, the support of the coaching staff, and the opportunity to be close to his family in Hawai‘i. Off the court, he enjoys coaching youth basketball, playing video games, and spending time with loved ones.
