Keonjay Carter joins the Sharks after competing at Roberts Wesleyan University and Lawson State Community College. The 6-foot-2 guard from Buffalo, New York is pursuing a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications at Hawai?i Pacific.

Carter brings extensive collegiate experience after serving as a team co-captain at Roberts Wesleyan during the 2025-26 season. He started 26 of 27 games while averaging 11.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, shooting 37.6% from three-point range. Throughout his collegiate career, he posted several standout performances, including a career-high 35 points at Lawson State Community College, a 29-point outing against Saint Thomas Aquinas with six made three-pointers, and a game-winning three-pointer against the College of Staten Island. He also scored 25 points against nationally ranked Daemen and 25 points in Roberts Wesleyan's season opener against Saint Anselm.

Before his collegiate career, Carter attended The Park School of Buffalo, where he competed in basketball and soccer under head coach Richard Jacobs. He earned Second Team All-Western New York honors from The Buffalo News after averaging 22.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game as a senior.

Carter adds veteran leadership and proven scoring ability to the Sharks as he begins his graduate career at HPU.
