Hawaii Pacific University Athletics

Nate Orr joins the Sharks after competing at the University of Indianapolis. The 6-foot-3 guard from Niles, Michigan is pursuing a degree in Business at Hawai?i Pacific.

Orr began his collegiate career at the University of Indianapolis after a successful high school career at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana. A four-year varsity player under head coach John Ashworth, he developed into a dependable point guard before continuing his basketball career under head coach Scott Heady at the collegiate level.

Orr chose HPU because of the program's family culture and the strong relationships he built with the coaching staff. After visiting campus, he felt immediately at home and knew HPU was the right fit. Away from basketball, he enjoys fishing, playing video games, and card games. Looking ahead, he hopes to play professional basketball following his collegiate career.
