Hailey Perez joins the Sharks after competing at Lewis & Clark College. The 5-foot-2 guard from ?Ewa Beach, Hawai?i is pursuing a degree in Business at Hawai?i Pacific.

Perez began her collegiate career at Lewis & Clark College under head coach Ann Dorris before returning home to continue her basketball career with the Sharks. Prior to college, she starred at Maryknoll School under head coach Chico Furtado, earning All-Hawai?i Second Team, All-Hawai?i Honorable Mention, ILH First Team, ILH Second Team, and ILH Honorable Mention recognition. She was also named MVP of both the Tarkanian Classic and the Imua Tournament, capping off an outstanding high school career.

Perez chose HPU for the opportunity to play close to home in front of family while joining a program where she immediately felt welcomed by Coach Gibson and the rest of the coaching staff. Away from the court, she enjoys shelling, sewing, spending time at the beach, and hanging out with friends. Looking ahead, she hopes to build a comfortable and stable life while making an impact on and off the court.
