Finn Royer is a right-handed pitcher and first baseman from Denver, Colorado. He joins Hawai?i Pacific after playing baseball at San Diego Mesa College under head coach Jake Portugal, where he competed as a pitcher, third baseman and first baseman. Royer earned All-Pacific Coast Conference Honorable Mention recognition and recorded the lowest ERA in the Pacific Coast Conference.

Royer graduated from Denver South High School, where he competed in baseball and soccer and earned five letters. Under head coach Ricardo Martinez, he earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2023 and 2024 after receiving Second Team All-Conference recognition in 2022. Royer was also named to the Denver Post All-Colorado Baseball Team and earned CHSAA All-State Honorable Mention honors in 2024.

Royer enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, fly fishing and playing ping-pong. His favorite foods include tacos, sushi and smoothies, while his favorite movies are Field of Dreams, Interstellar and Moneyball. He listens to Mac Miller and Night Moves, and his favorite athletes are Nolan Arenado and Anthony Rizzo. In 10 years, Royer hopes to still be happy. He chose HPU because of the coaching staff, the way returning players spoke about the program and the location.
