Ahren Verma joins Hawai‘i Pacific University as a versatile infielder/outfielder, staying close to the game that has defined his path since Rocklin High, where he played under coach Matt Jones and earned Second Team All-League, Honor Roll, and Scholar Athlete recognition. With no prior college stops, Verma arrives at HPU fully committed to beginning his collegiate career in the islands.

Born in Roseville and raised in Rocklin, he chose HPU because playing baseball in Hawai‘i has always been a dream — sunshine, ocean, and opportunity. Outside of baseball, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and everything outdoors, and one day hopes to live on the water, degree in hand, and life feeling just right.
